Cerebral Palsy, Inc. will be sponsoring an art day for persons with disabilities using adaptive art tools at Artstreet on Saturday, August 25. The human need for creative expression is a primary need, necessary for self-fulfillment and identity. Too often, the disabled are left outside of the creative process due to lack of fine motor skills or other impairments. For individuals with disabilities, art is an activity in which they can excel, given the opportunity. Individuals experiencing this Arts For All art day are active participants and will take artwork home with them.
